Youngkin launches $150K ad buy in competitive districts
Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s Spirit of Virginia PAC is launching a new ad in competitive districts across the Commonwealth as Virginia’s General Assembly elections are heating up.
“Governor Youngkin’s energy and vision for making Virginia the best place to live, work, and raise a family is taking hold,” said Dave Rexrode, Chairman of the Spirit of Virginia PAC. “To take Virginia to the next level, we need to give the Governor a team of leaders who know their community and are committed to delivering results. Together, this movement has reawakened the spirit of Virginia and we’re just getting started.”
Youngkin’s PAC is using the record-breaking money they have raised to try and flip the state Senate and keep the House of Delegates in Republican control.
This $150,000 ad buy is on top of the $100,000 Spirit of Virginia gave Danny Diggs (R) recently in SD-24 as he runs against Sen. Monty Mason (D).

Embattled Bedford Mayor Seeking Re-Election - Central Virginia Update
Tim Black is expected to run despite multiple scandals
When Bedford’s Mayor, Tim Black, attempted to sell a priceless piece of town-owned land to a friend far below market value in January, we broke the story in the hopes of exposing how corruption can negatively impact our community.
We could not, however, have anticipated the slew of tips we received in the days that followed about another controversy brewing in Bedford: a $12-15Million police palace that Black was also mysteriously shepherding toward approval, even spending nearly $1M on the design alone.
Virginia trans students, parents speak out against new Youngkin K-12 policies - RTD
by Anna Bryson and Em Holter
Growing up, Rhidian Davis’ parents had instilled in him the notion that he could be anything he wanted to be. As a teenager, however, Davis came to learn that the adage carried with it some stipulations.
The underlying message was that he could be anything as long as he wasn’t gay or transgender — a point that was further highlighted when he expressed that he was, in fact, transgender.
