Youngkin's administration and Senate Leaders respond to Wheeler's confirmation stalling in Committee for now

Governor Glenn Youngkin’s administration responded to the news that his pick to become the next Secretary for Historic and Natural Resources in Virginia failed to make it out of the Senate Privileges and Committee during their meeting on Tuesday afternoon.

The committee voted 9-6 to remove Andrew Wheeler’s name from the block of cabinet appointments before they voted to advance the rest of his nominees to the full Senate floor.
