Spanberger defends transgender students against Good in meeting with Governor Youngkin
During the monthly meeting of Virginia’s entire congressional delegation on Tuesday, the conversation became tense over the discussion of Governor Glenn Youngkin’s new guidance for transgender policies in public schools.
Rep. Bob Good (R-VA05), a biblical conservative who successfully primaried Rep. Denver Riggleman (R) in 2020 because he officiated a gay wedding between two staffers, accused public schools of “grooming” children and forcing them to become transgender during the meeting.
