Harris has momentum in Virginia
Vice President Kamala Harris officially launched her presidential campaign last week and appears to already have momentum in Virginia. Not many people expected Donald Trump to be competitive in this state, but polls showed him either tied or slightly leading before President Joe Biden dropped out of the race.
Shortly after announcing he would no longer seek the Democratic nomination, Biden announced his support for Harris to become the nominee. She then quickly launched her presidential campaign.
