According to survey results posted by the Virginia Constitutional Conservatives, Republican congressional nominees Yesli Vega (VA-07) and Hung Cao (VA-10) would potentially sponsor legislation that would compensate individuals who were “unlawfully detained” for participation in Jan. 6 riots.
Vega’s opponent, Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D), criticized her for this response in a press release Monday morning.
