Senate Democrats block Youngkin appointees.
Senate Democrats denied three appointees of Governor Glenn Youngkin on Wednesday. Health Commissioner Dr. Colin Greene, Steven Buck from the parole board, Suparna Dutta from the education board were not approved by the state Senate as Democrats used their majority to block their appointment. The Senate did approve a lot of other appointees, but the governor still lashed out at Democrats for the blocked appointments.
