Morrissey goes down
State Sen. Joe Morrissey (D) has lost his primary race against former Del. Lashresce Aird.
Morrissey is an embattled legislator who defeated Rosalyn Dance in a 2019 primary to earn the seat in the Senate. He is now the victim of a primary four years later.
Aird will be the Democratic nominee in SD-13. Eric Ditri is the Republican nominee.
VPAP has SD-13 listed as a district that leans Democratic.
Wren Williams defeats Marie March
A firey primary ends with Wren Williams defeated Marie March. Both were elected to the House in 2021 and were drawn into the same district during redistricting.
