Adams to resign from House before new term starts
Del. Les Adams (R) sent a letter to the clerk in the House of Delegates this week notifying him and Republican leadership that he is resigning from the seat he was just elected to last month. His last day will be Jan. 9.
“Although I have been elected to continue serving as Delegate for the new 48th House District in the next session, I will decline to accept the oath of office to be seated with that General Assembly so that I may make myself available for another position of service,” Adams said in his letter.
