How to vote in the GOP nomination convention
Republican candidates have provided instructions on voting in the convention
Republicans across Virginia will have to go to one of 37 voting locations on May 8 if they want to participate in the nomination process for governor, lieutenant governor, and attorney general. The Republicans that vote that day will be referred to as convention delegates and they have to go through a pre-registration process in order to participate. Voting will be ranked-choice and take place between 9 am and 4 pm.
The first step to becoming a delegate for a candidate is to fill out and sign the pre-file form.
Then each candidate provides instructions for registering as a convention delegate for their campaign.
