Governor Glenn Youngkin announced a Covid-19 action plan on Thursday as he takes over in the midst of the Omicron surge. The plan puts a heavy emphasis on encouraging Virginians to get the vaccine, but also reiterates that it will not be mandated. He also wants to discourage pre-screening and asymptomatic Virginians from taking Covid-19 tests to try and relieve supply chain issues.
