Governor Glenn Youngkin tweeted late Thursday night about a false claim that the CDC will be requiring children to receive the Covid-19 vaccine. Youngkin posted that Virginia will not “adhere” to new mandates from the CDC.
The CDC cannot mandate children in school to receive Covid-19 vaccines, however, as pointed out by Republican House Speaker Todd Gilbert.
