• Del. Mike Cherry (R) is endorsing in SD-12, the state Senate district that encompasses his entire House district. Instead of choosing the two-term incumbent, Amanda Chase (R), Cherry has chosen to endorse Glen Sturtevant for the nomination while throwing shade at Chase.

• After announcing early Thursday morning that she is struggling to raise money, is firing her consultants, and ending her campaign — Kimberly Pope Adams backtracked on that statement and changed her mind.
