Chamber provides clarity on the debate negotiations between Kiggans and Smasal
In an update to yesterday's story, the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce has provided some clarity on the debate drama between Rep. Jen Kiggans, R-VA02, and her Democratic challenger, Missy Cotter Smasal.
In case you missed the story yesterday, Kiggans released a statement on Tuesday challenging Smasal to participate in the Chamber’s debate. Smasal then responded by saying that she had already accepted the debate and accused Kiggans of political theatre.
The Chamber says this is not quite the case, however.
