In an update to the story from this morning, Del. Tim Anderson (R-Va Beach) explains why he filed a resolution to repeal the unconstitutional ban on same-sex marriage in Virginia. The provision was placed into the Constitution 16 years ago and defines marriage as being between a man and a woman.

“I have filed the resolution to repeal the same-sex marriage constitutional prohibition in the Virginia Constitution. Why? Here are 7 reasons I am sponsoring this change:
