Amanda Chase discusses her candidacy as she seeks the nomination to run against Spanberger next year

Chase talks about her candidacy, voter ID, redistricting, Reeves voting to censure her, and more.

In an interview with me this morning, state Sen. Amanda Chase (R-Chesterfield) talked in-depth about her run for Congress as she seeks to unseat two-term Rep. Abigail Spanberger in Virginia's seventh congressional district.

Chase talked about why she is running, redistricting, would she continue to run for Congress if she is drawn into the same district as a Republican incumbent, election integrity, voter ID laws, Reeves voting to censure her, her focus in D.C., would she rail against a convention similar to how she did in the gubernatorial race (“I’ll prevail either way,” she said), and what separates her from the other Republicans seeking the VA-07 nomination.
