CNN is projecting a win for Rep. Jennifer Wexton in Virginia’s tenth congressional district. She ran against Hung Cao (R). A Wexton win means that there likely will not be a big red wave tonight across the country.

Rep. Rob Wittman (R) has been elected to another term in Congress after his win over Democrat Herb Jones. Read the full comments from Wittman’s address to his supporters Tuesday night below:
"Good evening.
"Tonight, it is with great humility that I’m honored to say I will once again be serving the people of America’s First District in Washington in the 118th Congress. To the people of the First District, I thank you and I am honored to work for you.
"I want to thank my family, my wife Kathryn, my children - Devon and Josh for your love and support.
"I want to thank all the campaign staff and volunteers who helped in so many ways throughout this year -- tonight would not have been possible without your hard work.
"Throughout this campaign, I have traveled throughout the new First District, meeting with my new constituents and hearing their challenges and concerns; these last few years have presented incredible challenges; however, through it all, the folks of the First District have persevered, and I am honored to be your advocate in Washington.
"This year, with the addition of Henrico County and Chesterfield County, I look forward to representing my childhood home. With the addition of Williamsburg, York, and Poquoson, I look forward to once again representing the great people of the Historic Triangle and the City of Poquoson. In meeting so many of my new constituents already, I am hopeful and excited about what we will be able to accomplish together moving forward.
"I am thrilled to continue serving the people of Hanover, New Kent, the Northern Neck, and Middle Peninsula. It has been an honor to get to know and represent these folks over the past years, and I look forward to our continued work together to keep the First District strong.
"Folks who know me know I don’t shy away from hard work.
"From my time on the tomato farm, to the fishing boat, to college and the Corps of Cadets, to the Virginia Department of Health, local offices, and in Congress -- I have always worked with the same spirit of resolve and service that was instilled in me from a young age.
"As I have spent time throughout Virginia’s First District, I am constantly reminded of the hard work and dedication of individuals in our community who make our state and nation an incredible place to call home. Folks in Virginia want to work hard to make our state and our nation the best it can be. We all want to roll up our sleeves and get things done to help our communities.
"We know what it takes to help each other, and that is why I am so proud to serve you in Washington. We have hard work ahead of us, but I’m committed to working for you.
"I say it often, and it’s something I believe firmly: the people of our region -- our friends, neighbors, coworkers -- are the greatest people in the United States of America.
"Thank you for the opportunity to once again serve you in Washington. May God bless you, may God bless the Commonwealth of Virginia, and may God bless our great United States of America."
