Weekly polling on Virginia politics to start from a new organization
Founders Insight, a new nonpartisan 501c(3) organization “committed to providing public policy insights across the Commonwealth,” announced the results of its inaugural survey Tuesday.
Founders Insight will be conducting regular statewide public opinion polling on different policies ahead of the upcoming elections and the 2024 General Assembly session. They are led by Parker Slaybaugh, he most recently served as former Chief Deputy Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry under Gov. Glenn Youngkin. Prior to that he worked as a lobbyist and also worked for Speaker of the House Kirk Cox.
The first poll released by Founders Insight today shows that inflation and abortion are the top issues for voters this year.
