Good and McGuire continue their battle with continued accusations
New reporting from WSET shows an alleged interaction between Rep. Bob Good’s brother and his primary opponent, John McGuire, in church. This is just another chapter in the Good/McGuire battle that has gotten nasty.
From the WSET story:
In a statement to ABC 13, McGuire said, "Unfortunately Bob Good's brother, who I have never met or spoken to before, felt it was an opportunity to berate and spew hate at me, and worse, at my wife."
ABC 13 spoke to Neina Davis, who said she was standing next to McGuire when the incident happened. "Steve comes up on the other aisle and grabbed his hand, and says, 'you're a liar, you're just a liar. All you're saying is a lie, everything you're saying is a lie.' And my husband who was standing next to me said 'this is inappropriate, you shouldn't be doing this in church,'" Davis said.
McGuire also said Thomas Road Pastor Johnathan Falwell reached out expressing his disappointment in the situation. ABC 13 reached out to Steve Good and Congressman Bob Good for comment, but have yet to receive a response.
The Good and McGuire campaigns have had their fair share of drama between supporters.
